well buying a new expansion is cheaper than paying a monthly fee
anyways, i'm sure that not ALL the info on chapter 2 was in this magazine preview, so there's prolly a lot of other new stuff not mentioned, including stuff added on to the old regions. so dont complain now, complain when its released and you find out for yourself what its like

Everyone is like "Spirits are Overpowrd, NERF NERF"
So of course they made an entire profession that uses Spirits.
Ritualist will be my new character choice. Its like All the Ranger goodness with monk heals. If they get some nice caster stuff Rit/ranger will be my choice for real.

Gotta say id like to know what that means.
Does it mean new chapters or perhaps new regions?
Or perhaps some kind of event?
And if there is 2 a year, should we be worried that AN isnt providing enough content to match the price and timeline... 6months is next to nothing for modern content creation.

argh
i kinda dont like whats goin on...
the expansion should be just that, an EXPANSION. i dont like the sound of a new pre sear area, i think the new professions r great but it should be an extended area. in other words, u should finish up the fire islands then take a boat or something to cantha where there r more missions, anet should try to mod the alredy existing characters and skills the least they can because that would pi** (not sure if thats allowed in a forum lol) the people off who spent so much time getting the skills and good stuff for there character, the ritualist and assassin should start in normal pre sear not some wierdo cantha monastery thing.
simply put, anet should only make additions not change the stuff alredy there
ps. make it so u can lvl up to like 30 or 40 when u get to cantha

Err I think most people do NOT want to start in normal pre searing AGAIN. I know I don't. It's nice to have a different starting area.
And why should you only get access to Chapter 2 by finishing Chapter 1? Besides Chapter 2 is supposed to be able to be a stand alone game. It defeats purpose if you're required to finish Chapter 1 and if you have to start a new character in Pre Searing....AGAIN.
And NO! to level 30 or 40. Why do people insist on bringing this up over and over when it's been said by ANET that there are no plans at all to raise the f-ing level cap.

a few thing,
from words, it seems ritualist can be a better class than ranger to play a beastmaster role,...
and i want to know if i can use my existing character to play the storymode of the chapter 2,

Me too, if you can't (which would be a very bad idea) theres not much point of playing until chapter 2 comes out.
Also with the additions of new professions does this mean that there will be more charater spaces, so that people dont have to delete hours of work.
